ESTE MARCO JURÍDICO, MODIFICADO EN LA 196A REUNION DEL CONSEJO, SE APLICA A LAS SIGUIENTES 2 CONVENCIONES Y 14 RECOMENDACIONES :
SIN EMBARGO, COMO VEREMOS MÁS ADELANTE, LOS DERECHOS DE LA MADRE TIERRA VAN MUCHO MÁS ALLÁ DE LA NECESIDAD DE UN NUEVO MARCO LEGAL QUE TOME EN CUENTA A LA NATURALEZA.
