THE IDEA IS TO RIDE THE OTHER MAN'S HORSE. THEY RACE AS THEY NORMALLY WOULD. THE BLACKSMITH SAID THE MAN WHOSE HORSE CROSSES LAST WOULD WIN, SO THE MAN WHO WINS THE RACE WOULD HAVE HIS HORSE FINISH LAST
